Chinese New Year 2017 is around the corner - in fact, it's only about 12 days away! I love Chinese New Year as my big family and I enjoyed scrumptious food throughout the entire CNY week - yeah, I'm not kidding.
This glorious 2017 celebration of mine started with the a giant lou hei session at Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur recently. Thanks to Betty and the team of Sunway Putra Hotel, I was invited to join their CNY Media Preview Event few days back.
It was a spectacular scene to witness where the hotel lobby was filled with a gigantic yee sang. The Salmon Yee Sang was skilfully arranged to form a wave pattern with the hotel's iconic logo on it. It was so huge that you gotta view the entire yee sang from the balcony above the lobby level.

What's CNY without the lion dance? There were a team of lion dance who entertained the guests throughout the lou hei session. In-house hotel guests were also invited for the lou hei session and I even witnessed some foreign in-house guests who had lots of fun with the lion dance - and was a great cultural exchange session for them. It's not like you can toss a giant yee sang anywhere else - but only here at Sunway Putra Hotel.
